Worry...

Recently has been troubled with some issues. Of course, exam is one of it.

It's so suffering when there are no mood to study. It's very frustrated! Maybe i gave myself too much of pressure...until I lost my appetite. Feel wanted to eat, but when it comes in front of me...feel likw don't wan to take it already...cause I feel like want to vomit. I hate this feeling. Whenever I've facing problem or stress...or my mood is getting down..I will lost my appetite. Some people might thought it is the chance to keep fit. But I think I'm satisfy with my current weight and there is no necessary for me to keep it more slim. But is is out of my control. Do you really know how I felt??

Why there must a problem occurred before my exam get start? It had divert my attention and to focus on my exam. I'm so afraid that the problem is happened because of me. I'm really afraid and I really meant it! It makes me can't sleep well whenever I think of this matter.

Well, the day is still going on. It's the time for me to have my first day of my exam. When I wake up in the morning, I saw the message. My fear had came once again. But I still able to reply the message. And at the same time, I received a message from one of my brother in Christ. He told me not to be worry, but have faith in God and stand firm in Him. Thus, I immediately reply the message by saying thanks, for it encourage and comfort me a lot. I prayed to God right after I've send the message. I was in the bus that time.

When I'm on the way go to college, there are another problem occurred. there are having traffic jam! Oh no! I forgotten that this week is the first week of school and many parents are sending their child to school I think. I've count it wrong. But I cant do anything. I just hope to get to the college on time. And, I prayed to God. I know I should surrender all things into God's hand, for He will guide me no matter in small or big issue. Thus, I prayed to God many times when I'm on the way. I din't want to look at my watch, for I know if I have faith in Him, He will lead me and guide me. In Phil 4:6-7  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.

I'm really thanks to my God which had heard on my prayer and answer my prayer. I'm able to reach college on time and able to finished my paper on time. Although I'm still afraid and worry on that issue, but I believe God will give me a clear way.

Just know my mediatation on today's quiet time is to to have faith and stand firm in God no matter in what situation. ( Col 2: 5  For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is. )

It's so suit to my situation! He is like giving me a comfort through Bible! I know I can do nothing but to surrender all to His hands. What should I need to do is to stand firm and have faith in Him!

Let There Be...

Genesis 1:1 through 2:25; Matthew 1:1–25

And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done (Genesis 2:3).

God’s first recorded words brought light and land and living creatures to life. Fourteen times in Genesis 1 God used the word “let” to speak into being and define the role of various elements of His creation—from the expanse of the heavens to the specific individuality of the first human being.

After completing His work during the world’s first six days, God acknowledged the excellence of His vast creation. The universe was now complete, and God turned over the work and rule of Earth to humankind. Then God did another new thing. He set aside the crowning day of this first week for rest, and He blessed this day and declared it holy.

Thus began the pattern that has continued throughout time: six days to do our work and one day each week set aside as special in honor of our Creator. On that day we join Him in holy rest.
Challenge for Today: Honor the Lord through your work and through your worship.

God's Love -The Gift

The Bible tells us that "God is Love" (1 John 4:8). But how can we even begin to understand that truth? There are many passages in the Bible that give us God's definition of love. The most well known verse is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." So one way God defines love is in the act of giving. However, what God gave (or should we say, "who" God gave) was not a mere gift-wrapped present; God sacrificed His only Son so that we, who put our faith in His Son, will not spend eternity separated from Him. This is an amazing love, because we are the ones who choose to be separated from God through our own sin, yet it's God who mends the separation through His intense personal sacrifice, and all we have to do is accept His gift.

God is Love, and His love is very different from human love. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He is love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him, and He sacrificed His own Son (who also willingly died for us) to restore that relationship.

My Name

Wondering why is I having this name? It has to go back to my childhood time….. Let’s travel back to the past!

Although time flash by, but some of the scenes still stored in my mind. I’m still remembered in my standard six (year 2000), I and my friends have a hobby. Know what the hobby is? Is to write letter!! Haha ~ We like to write letter to our best friends during school holidays. And it’s really happy to received letter and reply! And since that time, I don’t really remember in what situation, we all (few of us) decided to give ourselves an English name. So, each time when we write the letter, we will put our ‘new’ name!!! When think back of it…its really childish…hahaha…And my ‘new’ name was…CHRISTINE~

I really don’t know why am I choose that name but at that moment, I really like it. The name was suddenly pop up into my mind when I’m thinking about what name shall use.  I thought it was a special name and it shouldn’t have much people used the same name. But I’m wrong…I begun to realize, a lot of people are using the same name as I…Yes a bit disappointed, but I would not like to change it again…so that was the story…story end~

Christine

It has a ‘Christ’ within it…so do my heart for now…Christ lives within me.

It was His plans on me. He found me and He had chosen me to become His children. Here, I would like to praise my Lord and give thanks to Him…

I give thanks to my Lord because He…
-found me and saved me
-clean all my sins
-let me become the children of God
-is my Savior and my Redeemer
-love me more than anyone’s love on me in this world
-my shelter to cry out when I’m helpless
- uphold me and strengthen me
-comfort me and walk with me
-be my guider and I’m your follower

My faith is always floating…like a boat. When the weather is good, I rely on myself. But when storm is coming, I only seek for your shelter!

I shall stand firm in you my Lord! For things within the world is not eternal but only you…can give us the eternity! Amen!

Why Jesus?

Jesus loves you! He desires to have a relationship with you and to give a life full of joy and purpose.

REASON 1: YOU HAVE A PAST

You cant go back but He can. The Bible says, 'Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.' (Hebrew 13:8). He can walk into those places of sins and failure, wipe the slate clean and give u a new beginning.

REASON 2: YOU NEED A FRIEND

Jesus knows the worst about you, yet he believes the best. why? Because He sees you not as you are but as you will be when He gets through with you. What a friend!

REASON 3: HE HOLDS THE FUTURE

Who else are you going to trust? In His hand you are safe and secure: today, tomorrow and for eternity. His Word says 'For I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days, when you pray I will listen' (Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB).

Always There

When I'm less than I should be
When I just can't face the day
When darkness falls around me
And I just can't find my way
When my eyes don't clearly see
And I stumble through it all
You I lean upon, you keep me strong
And you rise me when I fall

You are there when I most need you
You are there so constantly
You come shining through, you always do
You are always there for me

When life brings me to my knees
When my back's against the wall
You are standing there right with me
Just to keep me standing tall
Though a burden I may be
You don't weary, you don't rest
You are reaching out to carry me
And I know I'm heaven-bless
